The life of Nadya, a humble girl from Irkutsk, changed dramatically when she was noticed by legendary skater Vladimir Leonov. The pair quickly gained popularity – with their plans including participation in the Olympic Games and a shotgun wedding. Absolute happiness was within arm's reach, but Leonov ended up causing Nadya a serious injury. The forgotten champion would have never again left her apartment, if it were not for a new acquaintance – failed hockey player Sasha. Now our heroes must go out on the ice together and prove that true feelings (from hate to love) can pave the way to reaching a dream.
"Ice" focuses on the much-loved sport of figure skating. The film's soundtrack features Russian cult classics with unusual arrangements from the musical genius of Anton Belyaev ("The Voice" project, Therr Maitz group). Famous Bolshoi Theater choreographer Oleg Glushkov created the dance performances and shows, which follow in the style of "The Great Gatsby."
