Vodorod film company was founded in 2011. Today, Vodorod boasts eight full-length films in its portfolio, including Invasion, Attraction and Ice 1–2, all of which earned over one billion rubles at the box office. Vodorod partners with industry leaders, such as Art Pictures Studio, STS-Media and Sony Pictures Releasing.

However, Vodorod's interests are not limited to production: in 2017, the company founded Industry School of Film and Television with Fedor Bondarchuk and with the support of National Media Group. Vodorod launched an advertising service in 2018.

We are young, full of energy and confident. We collaborate with the best and most promising filmmakers in Russia and we love to experiment: several large-scale projects are in development, spanning genres from a full-length animated film, a biopic about an unsurpassed explorer and record-breaker, and a sci-fi horror film. Our goals are endless, and we intend to conquer the worldwide distribution market. We know that behind every — even the most expensive and successful film — there stands the people who made it.

In 2018, we broke into the domestic advertising business: we filmed 13 clips for the World Cup in record time. Our goal is to develop and realize unique concepts that meet the interests of our client and potential consumers, as well as the criteria of the Cannes Lions.

Vodorod's most recently completed projects include providing service to Moscow Unit of the British mini-series McMafia (BBC and AMC production) and the American mini-series Chernobyl (HBO).

Previews are an animated three-dimensional sketch of the film. Modern technologies allow us to create a three-dimensional location with moving characters and to build the desired frame with the necessary camera movement, using the parameters of real objects and specific equipment (cameras, lenses, etc.). The main advantage of this technique is to answer the question of what will be necessary to realize a concept, and in many cases, how to economize the budget.

Industry School of Film and Television was founded by leaders in the Russian film industry with the goal to educate a new generation of professionals to shoot high-quality cinema for the masses. The best Russian film specialists teach at the school in conditions that maximally reproduce real film production.
