INVASION, 2020
Life has been divided into "Before" and "After" by the crash of an alien spaceship. An ordinary girl from the Chertanovo District of Moscow—Yulia Lebedeva—was the only human to be in contact with the aliens, and thus has been forced into the role of a laboratory rat. Scientists and military officers attempt to break down her feelings, emotions, and fears in infinitesimal detail, trying to unlock the nature of the forces growing within her. But worst of all, her nascent supernatural abilities are a source of alarm not only for earthlings. The danger of invasion hangs in a literal sense above the planet. There is only one way to ensure victory in the impending clash: to find the strength within ourselves to remain human. When each person, for the sake of their common salvation, must make a choice on which the life and fate of millions depend, can love, loyalty, and mercy prove itself to be a stronger force than then ruthless might of alien technology?
